Chairman’s welcome
We are delighted to welcome you to our website. We are a regional historic vehicle club based in Fife with members who own or have an interest in older or classic vehicles including cars, motorbikes, tractors, lorries and buses.
Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in the hobby.
In addition to our regular meetings, we arrange a variety of visits and activities including evening road runs, with light refreshments.
We also attend a large number of Classic Car Shows throughout Scotland, with members able to show their cars on the club stand. Details of which are listed in our events section.

Membership
Our annual membership fee is £15.00. Each month members receive a copy of our club newsletter ‘The Klaxon’ which contains details of forthcoming events and articles. As a Member you will also receive a copy of the SVVF year book in January which gives details of all the shows throughout the year in Scotland. New members are always welcome to join, come along to one of our meetings, see us on our club stand at the Classic Shows or download the application form below.

In June 2025 we will hold our 44th The Festival of Historic Transport at The Scottish Vintage Bus Museum, Lathalmond KY12 OSJ .
Several hundred vehicles are displayed in a variety of classes ranging across, Veteran, Vintage and Classics. Pedal bikes to Motorbikes, Cars to Commercials, Tractors, Steam Vehicles, Military, and Club stands. There are also Craft, and Auto Jumble stalls together with several Catering units.
There will be a free vintage bus service to and from Dunfermline bus station throughout the day, also on site is shed 47 which is standard guage and narrow guage railway of which there is a small charge payable to shed 47 for trips.
The show will be open between 11am and 4pm to members of the public.Entrance is £5.00 per adult (CASH ONLY) accompanied children under 16 go free. Your entrance fee included free entrance to the Museum.
